To Tell Of Him
Your brokenness isn’t in Jesus’ way.
He has and will continue to move through you and in you.
The brokenness you might be experiencing has a purpose. It pulls us closer to Christ as we find shelter in His love and refuge under His wings. It builds a stronger reliance on Him as we grow through the struggles we go through.
The circumstances you’re walking through and the pain you’ve experienced, may feel like a waste of time or unnecessary heartbreak but God has promised to orchestrate every detail of your life for His glory and for your good.
Surrender the pieces of your heart to the Lord and watch Him slowly but surely mend, heal, and restore. He is using these trials (and the triumphs!) to sanctify us, refine us, to make us more like Him.
You are not your sickness,
you are not your illness,
you are not your fractured relationship,
you are not your mistakes,
you are not your brokenness,
you are not your heartache,
you are not your past,
your are not your sin.
Your identity is in NOTHING but the blood of Jesus and His saving grace.
You are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10),
you are chosen (1 Peter 2:9),
you are forgiven and redeemed (Ephesians 1:7)
you have been set free (Ephesians 2:5),
you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14),
you are strong because He is strong (Colossians 1:11),
you are healed and made whole in Christ (1 Peter 2:24).
Through all of this, He has a plan and purpose. Knowing and believing that doesn’t mean the pain will immediately disappear but it DOES mean there is hope; a hope and future. God is working in your waiting.
Don’t, for a second, think you’re beyond redemption or past the point of grace. Your story’s not over yet. The Creator of all heaven and earth has a beautiful purpose and plan for your precious life, friend.
Don’t give up on the gifts He’s given you and don’t give up on the things Jesus has called you to. It’s all part of your story, part of your testimony; to speak on His and His goodness and grace.
Through it all, we have joy because we have Hope, we have Love, and we have Life.
May our testimonies echo God’s grace and may our stories tell of Him!
